Experimental Evaluation of the Cyclic Behaviour of Scaled (1:3) Reinforced Concrete Frames

This paper presents laboratory test results for two-column one-bay reinforced concrete (R/C) bare frames with or without masonry infills 1:3 scale prototypes when the top beam is subjected to horizontal cyclic loading using 50kN axial load per column. It well documented that affect dynamic characteristics of building structures. At same time, their uncertain behaviors have also been recorded. Many parameters, such as infill materials, reinforcing infills, connection surrounding frame by means surrounded joint contact, local techniques, and others structural system behavior. The increase overall lateral strength stiffness partially strength; hence, proper use can positively general seismic Masonry benefits were tested several specimens: one virgin frame, cement plaster. In this experimental series, aim was investigate study following parameters concerning problem under influence loading: type, type and, mortars coating used construct brick walls. obtained align similar studies in Greece.
